What is the refund policy? Refunds will be given until 30 days prior to the conference less a $50 administrative charge. No refunds will be given after May 14, 2012.
Is parking available on campus?Yes, there will be several parkings available to symposium attendees. You will be directed at registration to a lot close to housing, if you are staying on campus.
What happens if it rains at the time of the Mississippi Explorer River Tour? The river tour goes regardless of weather. The boat is enclosed.
What attire is required?Conference attire is business casual; semi-formal dress for the banquet is optional.
Are shuttles available from the hotels? Daily Shuttle Service will be available from and to the Fine Arts Center Atrium entrance (unless otherwise noted) and from and to the downtown hotels (Radisson, Holiday Inn, and Courtyard, in this order).
Tuesday, June 12 – Shuttle to Viterbo from downtown hotels will begin at 4:30 p.m.; Evening shuttle to downtown hotels will leave at 9:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Wednesday, June 13 – Morning shuttle will begin at 6:55 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.; evening shuttle to downtown hotels will leave at 7 p.m.
Thursday, June 14 – Morning shuttle will begin at 6:55 a.m. and 7:55 a.m.; Evening shuttle back to hotels will leave at 5:45 p.m. (from Franciscan Way)
Is transportation available to off-campus events?
Mississippi Explorer River Tour – bus will leave from Franciscan Way at 6:30 a.m. regardless of weather; back to Viterbo from Riverside Park at 8:30 a.m. Coffee will be availabe on the boat.
Closing Banquet at Cargill Room, Downtown La Crosse – bus will leave from Franciscan Way at 6 p.m.; back to Viterbo at 9 p.m.

Will there be computers available for attendees' use? A cyber cafe in the registration area in the Fine Arts Center Lobby will be available 7 a.m.–6 p.m. for you to check email, check in for flights, or do whatever you may need. Limited printing will be available. Wireless access will also be available throughout campus. Attendees may use the computers in the Student Union as well. Further information will be available in the symposium program booklet.
Will there be a lost and found area? The lost and found will be at the Fine Arts Center Lobby registration area.
What is included in on-campus housing?The air-conditioned apartment unit to which you will be assigned features two to three bedrooms. Apartments are furnished with beds, dressers, desks, and chairs in each bedroom; living and dining room furniture; stove; and refrigerator. You will be provided with a pillow, blanket, pillow case, sheets, towels, and wash cloth. Additional items you may wish to bring to make your stay on campus more comfortable are a desk lamp, personal items, computer, and alarm clock.
What meals are provided? Attendees will be on their own for breakfast and lunch on Tuesday. A light supper will be provided at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. All meals and snacks will be provided Wednesday and Thursday, including the Thursday evening banquet. Grab and go breakfast will be provided for on-campus attendees on Friday morning in the Student Union.
Are there workout facilities available on campus? The Amie L. Mathy Center, the university’s fitness center, will be available for symposium attendees’ use. Hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday 7 a.m.–4 p.m. and Tuesday, Thursday 11 a.m.–7 p.m. Cost for attendees is $5 per day payable at the front desk. Identification in the form of driver’s license or symposium name badge will be required for entry.
