Soon, a new online publication, Can you Speak Franciscan: A Lexicon for Franciscan Learners, will be available as a downloadable pdf file, intended as a resource for use at Franciscan colleges and universities.  The format will be a type of glossary, with short entries to identify common and useful terms that offer insights and basic historical information on the Franciscan traditions for non-Franciscan educators.  The text can be used for new employee and student orientations, as well as an introductory primer for faculty seeking an overview of the tradition that would help to integration the Franciscan heritage into the curriculum.  Anticipated publication date: mid-spring 2011.
