Established in 1858, St. Bonaventure is a Catholic university in the Franciscan tradition. We are an independent, coeducational institution offering programs through our School of Arts and Sciences, Business Administration, Education and Journalism and Mass Communication. Graduate degrees are offered through the School of Graduate and Franciscan Studies We have an enrollment of 2,500 students; 50% male and 50% female, 75% of undergraduates live on campus. Undergraduate degrees offered are; Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Education, and a Bachelor of Business Administration. St. Bonaventure has a faculty of 125 full-time professors, over 90% of whom hold the highest degree possible in their field. Thirty-three faculty members are Franciscans. The student to faculty ratio is 17:1. St. Bonaventure is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and is registered with the Board of Regents and the University of the State of New York.
