Siena College

Siena College is a Catholic and Franciscan, coeducational, liberal arts college founded in 1937 by Franciscan Friars. Siena College with an enrollment of 2,700 undergraduates, offers programs of study in the Arts, in the Sciences, in Business and in pre-professional programs leading to baccalaureate degrees. Siena also provides continuing education programs for the surrounding community. Siena College is located in the center of New York State's Capital District and is easily reached from New York City, Boston, and Buffalo. Concentrated areas of study and a large and successful internship program prepare students for specific careers. Siena is registered by the Board of Regents of the University of the State of New York. All programs are accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, the Chemistry program is certified by the National Council on Social Work Accreditation.
