The University of Saint Francis exists to serve students by facilitating learning and personal and professional development in an environment permeated by Franciscan values. Founded in 1890 by the Sisters of Saint Francis of Perpetual Adoration, the university is a Catholic, coeducational institution of higher education in the liberal arts tradition, offering undergraduate and graduate programs designed to meet the needs of a diverse student body.
