Cardinal Stritch University is the second-largest private university in the state of Wisconsin and the largest Franciscan institution of higher education in North America. Stritch is a comprehensive, Franciscan Catholic institution, providing graduate and undergraduate education to a diverse population of men and women of all ages. Stritch educates about 7,200 men and women of all faiths and ages in four colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education and Leadership and the Ruth S. Coleman College of Nursing. With three regional campuses in Milwaukee, Madison, and Minneapolis/St. Paul, the University has gained recognition as a pioneer in the areas of special education, reading, nursing, and business. In addition to more than 20 student organizations on the Milwaukee campus, Stritch is home to 10 athletic teams, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's volleyball, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's basketball, women's softball and men's baseball.
