The University also offers the country's only Human Life Studies Minor, which prepares students to think, speak, and act intelligently in defense of life. Students have the opportunity to spend a semester at the University's campus in Gaming, Austria, where they live and study in a newly restored fourteenth-century Carthusian monastery. New to the Steubenville campus is the 43,000-square-foot Saints Cosmas and Damian Science Hall whose six classrooms, 13 laboratories, a greenhouse, and advanced technology allow students to prepare for highly-specialized professions.
